Survivors was founded on November 8th, 2004 by a group of friends sojourning to the newly launched Everquest 2. We went on to become one of the most succesful and long lived raiding guilds in that game, our name hallowed on the Guk server as a respectful, no-nonsense group of players who formed lifelong friendships while crushing raid content on the leanest of schedules.
We taught hardcore players to be civil, and casual players to be hardcore. Through discipline, mutual respect and a whole lot of fun we achieved the absolute pinnacle of what a MMORPG guild should be.
One year ago we left Everquest 2 after six years as a raiding guild on the Guk server. We briefly played World of Warcraft and are now raiding in RIFT on the Silkweb shard, Defiant faction.
Survivors maintains the same core membership and the same leadership as we did in EQ2. Many old members have come out of retirement to rejoin us in RIFT, as well as some old friends from Guk who have chosen to become part of our online family.
We plan to play RIFT for the forseeable future. We only raid two days a week, but have cleared GSB, RoS and are currently 4/11 HK. Look us up on the Silkweb server.
This September we held the 7th Survivors Guild Meet in New Orleans, Louisiana.
