Charter
Survivors was created as and remains an autocracy. The rules, procedures and membership guidelines of the guild are created and enforced by the Officers, but the Guild Leader always has final say on everything:
|
Amawyn: AA and Gear Specs
Ambrosine: Quartermaster Needs
Arabella: General Manager, Second-in-Command
Effeara: Personnel Issues, Complaint Department
Fidelus: Guild Leader, Raid Leader
Kaisa: Recruitment, Website/Ventrilo Administration
Sulix: Raid Rules and Performance Enforcement
Wymsical: Personnel Issues, Complaint Department
|
Additionally, there are certain Raiding Members who have administrative responsibilities to assist in the upkeep and maintenance of the guild. They are in charge of their area and their decisions will be backed by the Guild Leader. The only thing done by committee in Survivors is the appointment and removal of Officers, and the publishing of official rules.

DKP Administration: Sun - Kaisa, Tue - Ambrosine, Thurs - Wymsical
Quartermaster Crafting: Adorner - Nimeria, Thrithia, Alchemist - Shadyll, Provisioner - Educ, Sage - Khadhina, Tinkerer - Shoogar, Weaponsmith - Magicia, Woodworker - Wymsical
Recruiting Staff: Dawnasue, Effeara, Sulix

Raid Rules and DKP Rules are outlined separately and can be found under the About pull-down.
Our Expectations: Courtesy, cooperation, and decency. We expect that you will keep your raid main toon up-to-date on everything (masters/gear/quests/AA), that you will change your AA profile if requested by an Officer, that you will inform us if you will be missing raids, that you show basic respect to everyone on this team and refrain from temper tantrums and drama, and that you comport yourself in public channels in a manner befitting the dignity of this guild. It is also expected that you will be a good sport, speak up (or to our Personnel Issues officer) if you are offended or bothered by anything, communicate actively, and basically don't act like a mouth-breather. We have a lot of colorful characters here (with strong and diverse personalities), and we welcome you to the show, but don't expect to be taken seriously until you have proven yourself. We expect that you will do your very best to function at a high level. We will do everything necessary to support you, and we expect the same; teamwork is what makes us successful. Lastly, unless someone asks, we don't give a damn how your old guild did it.
Alts: You can guild as many alternate characters as you want. We do not allow Raiding Members to have alts in other active guilds. Mule guilds are fine - if there's anyone else in that guild besides you and your many personalities, or other Survivors, your SO, or your kids, it's uncool. We expect your primary concern and consideration to be your main raid toon. Until that toon is max AA and as well geared/mastered as possible, we don't expect to see you on your alts. Alts are last priority for groups, updates and items.
DKP: DKP is handled by the DKP Administration crew noted above. Review the DKP Rules, and direct any questions to those individuals, though any Senior Raiding Member should be able to answer basic DKP questions.
Family: Any family members you wish to join us are welcome. We have a great many wives/siblings/husbands/parents etc. If they would like to raid, speak with our Raid Leader to see how and if he wants to work that out. If they do not intend to raid, review Arabella's post, Casual Friends Joining Survivors. It's not fun to be in our guild and be a non-raider.
Ranks:
We have six ranks within our guild. The Guild Leader has final say on everything. The Officers assist him in all decision-making matters, and handle individual portfolios of guild operations as outlined above. Senior Raiding Members are those who have been with the guild for over one year. They are involved in the recruitment application review process, advise the Officers/Leader and assist with day-to-day operations. Raiding Members are those who have been with the guild for over one month, but less than one year. Raiding Members are eligible for payouts, loot, and alt loot. Non-Raiding Members are retired raiders or family members of current raiders. They are not eligible for raid loot or payouts. Recruits are those who have been with us for less than one month, and are therefore still considered "trial" members.
Recruit Stages: After 30 days on probation you become a Raiding Member, with access to the raid bank (Guild Bank 2). Until then, mail the Recruitment officer your raid mending bills for reimbursement. Any Raiding Member can get you items out of the raid bank if needed. After 30 days you can also buy rot gear for your designated loot alt.
Further questions can be directed to any Officer or Senior Raiding Member that is available. In all cases, the Guild Leader is the last word on everything. We expect 100% loyalty and commitment, and we offer the same. |
